My expertise covers many different areas related to technology integration, augmented and virtual reality, design thinking, student creativity and critical thinking, STEM/STEAM topics, and school redesign. I have presented a wide variety of sessions and can tailor sessions to meet your needs. Below are some general session descriptions that I have lead in the past and am prepared to lead again. Please let me know if there is something specific you are looking for and I can work to provide or help find someone that can meet your needs.

Student Podcasting in the Core Curriculum
Quality student discussion is an incredibly valuable learning strategy, but is often elusive. When students record podcasts of their discussions they are actually creating something unique for a real-world audience. They effectively become the teacher, our highest level of Bloom's Taxonomy, and invest themselves not only in the discussion, but in the learning required to produce a quality product. 45 minute session
Redesign Instruction and Assessment with iPad
Technology has been labeled a game-changer in education for years. While true, it often took longer and required more expertise than was possible for the average teacher. Enter the iPad. As a now sufficiently mature platform, it offers myriad ways to truly redesign what the typical classroom looks like, sounds like, and feels like. In this session we play with new technologies such as augmented and virtual realities, create incredible movies, take notes into the 21st century with photo markup, design beautiful graphics, and learn to code like a pro. Full or Half Day
Design Thinking
Design thinking is one of those unique and innovative learning strategies that is easy and cheap to start with AND can be implemented in almost any subject area. At its core the task of design thinking is one that builds empathy and facilitates deep critical thinking in students. This concept has a low entry point but a very high ceiling. Half Day or 1 hour
